Parlor
The parlor is accessed from the foyer and is graced by the original antique oak mantel. Colors of deep reds, greens, and honey warm the senses and recall times of family gatherings long past. The furniture is a light Norwegian spruce of an English cottage style. Antique hat trunks provide one-of-a-kind accents. From the French doors, one can take a stroll directly onto the inviting porch filled with wicker furniture.

The Dining Area
Flowing into the kitchen wing, the dining room has significant eye appeal. The window treatments, tapestry hanging, antique pictures and large rug underfoot add the touches of interest that bring cheer to a room. The china cabinet displays its treasures from days past and the antique heart pine floors warm the spirit. French doors beckon to the inviting side porch and the vistas beyond.

Kitchen
A true chef's kitchen! The spacious area hints of times past, and yet the modern conveniences abound. For the caterer, there are two warming drawers, two sinks (including a 3-basin sink), dishwasher, microwave, dedicated Sub-zero refrigerator, separate Sub-zero freezer drawers, and two conventional ovens with a convection addition. The glass cook-top features five burners, and the powerful hood above handily removes all evidence of food preparation. The commercial icemaker provides a continuous flow of ice for your beverage needs. Heart pine floors accented by a designer rug accommodate a maple, butcher-block work table, delightfully situated to add yet another work area. Daylight from the abundance of windows, along with custom lighting fixtures, also ensures a bright, cheery day--no matter what the weather outside.
Landing/Stairs/Foyer
 |
The split staircase is typical of two-story houses built at the turn of the century. As you reach the top stairs, turn left to access the Bridesmaids' Suite. A right turn will lead to the Bridal Quarters. Sunlight streams into the landing area, courtesy of the foursome of windows set into the shed-style dormer. |

The Country Store
Grandpa started it! We improved it! Enter the pint-sized establishment and recall the general mercantile of days past. The store counter stands ready for imaginary transactions. Enjoy the paraphernalia that brings back warm memories from forgotten days. The mantel was reclaimed from the main house and Grandpa's antique trunk stands duty for handy storage. The ceiling fan and lantern-like fixtures complete the old-time picture.
Pavilion
Once an operating peach shed, architectural improvements have now created a special gathering place. Call it a dance barn or a pavilion. Either way, your guests will enjoy the exposed beams and antique heart pine floors. The combination of numerous fans, lighting, and electrical outlets make this the perfect spot for large parties. Suitable spots abound for buffet lines, table placement, and dance floor space. Handicap ramps and paver paths accommodate older guests. The stage area is unique--perfect for a large band with multiple electrical and lighting needs. A short walk to the back of the pavilion is all that is needed for creature comfort--bathrooms, and lots of them! Five for the ladies and three for the gents! Even here, the decorative accents are numerous.
